All of the coaches have finished naming their squads as of yesterday and now all sixteen teams have there line-ups set in stone. Now that we can see who is set to be playing in the tournament we begin seeing how the event should shape up. Each team has 23 men on the squad which leaves lots of room for injuries and bans throughout the tournament. I’m sure there will be a lot of bans in the tournament as it seems every time nations compete in soccer it gets pretty rattled up.The countdown to the first kick-off is fast approaching and we’re almost only one week away, which I’m sure some people are already making the trip to the host countries. The 368 players who will be competing this year at the Euro Cup I’m also sure are already making there way down to the Host countries where they begin their play.

There weren’t too many surprises when it came to setting the rosters but there are already some worries on some teams with the thought of injuries. As teams are wrapping international friendly matches players are becoming injured which means that some nations might begin the tournament shorthanded. One of the teams for instance in deep concern right now is Russia as they worry about striker Pavel Pogrebnyak who got injured in there recent friendly match against Serbia.

With injuries and bans playing a huge role in the tournament it also makes for exciting late round matches as teams become shorthanded and some lose valued players. This is when upset victories are seen the most and I would love to see some great upsets this year throughout the tournament.
