Dinamo Zagreb has been busy this off-season and look like they should be the clear winner in Croatia this year. Dinamo lost two of their star players in the off-season, but they we’re quick to react and they signed three players from South America that should add some great striking power to the team.
Luka Modric who was the captain of Dinamo Zagreb last season has left to join Tottenham Hotspur for 21 million Euros. There other star from last season Ognjen Vukojevic also left to join Dynamo Kyiv.
The team already has five international players that are on the team and with the signing on three more South American players they now have a total of eight foreign players on the team this year.
Pedro Morales is set to fill the shoes of the ex-captain of Dinamo Modric and management believes he’ll have no problems doing so. Croatian soccer is full of great rivalries and Pedro is already full aware of those and can’t wait to take part in some of the derby matches.
Pedro is only a young 23 years old and has already established himself as a star soccer player in many countries and now he will need to show the Croatian league that he can play. Now he just needs to continue learning the new language that he needs to adapt too, but the coach has said that he already is underway with that aspect and can put together a few words already which is a good start.
Dinamo also grabbed two Argentinean players to fill the voids in the roster and I expect that the team will be able to have a dominating control over the league this year.
