Robinho looking towards Chelsea
Filed Under Players, Premiership, Primera Division | Leave a Comment
Robinho’s agent has announced that the star player is currently unhappy with his situation in Real Madrid and would love to move to Chelsea, a team that is currently pursuing him. It is reported that the English club has already offered around 20 million pounds for him, but whether or not it will go through is questionable because Real was seeking around 27 million. Even if the original offer isn’t accepted, negotiations will likely begin and a deal is still possible.
Robinho’s agent is hoping that the two sides can agree to some middle ground that would send his client to the Blues. The fact that he has openly discussed his discontent will certainly put pressure on Real Madrid to do something because sitting on it for too long could lead to locker room troubles as moral goes down.
Robinho is upset with his current team for a few reasons, primarily what he sees as a lack of respect. He felt that he was the team’s fourth priority this offseason, after Christiano Ronaldo, Rafael Van der Vaart, and David Villa. He said that he aspires to become the best in the world and the way that the Real management treats him won’t give him the opportunity to get to the top. He was also unhappy about the lack of communication and the way he was treated.
