Until a few days ago, nobody would have believed you if you said that the fastest goal scored in soccer would be only 2 seconds after kickoff and on the second touch on the ball. And yet, this is exactly what the Saudi striker Nawaf Al Abed achieved at the beginning of the Prince Faisal bin Fahad Cup match between Al Hilal and Al Shoalah.

Nawaf saw the Al Shoalah goalkeeper out of position and kicked the ball perfectly to hit the back of the net with only seconds on the clock from the start of the match. Al Hilal proceeded to win the game with the rather emphatic 4-0 score.

Watch in the video below the fastest soccer goal ever scored; this one will remain the king for all time. The only thing faster than the goal is the announcer.
