AC Milan star player Ronaldinho has been in top form lately, reminding everyone of the type of football he played in the 2004/2005 season when he was crowned FIFA World Player of the Year. Recently he scored a hat trick against Siena in a Serie A match, and netted two in Milan’s major win over Juventus. With the return of David Beckham adding a further boost, they are now closing in on their San Siro rivals Inter, and look to be mounting a serious title challenge for the first time in years.
Many had said that the Brazilian playmaker was past his best and would never be as good as he once was, but it seems like he is on his way of proving them wrong. Ronaldinho himself has acknowledged his resurgence and has put it down on good fortune off the field.
“I feel the love and so I am happy. I step on to the field happy and everything goes smoothly from there. I don’t know if we will win the Scudetto, but we just need to keep playing well and having fun.” – he told Sky Italia reporters.
So is footballing form and ability mostly a mindset? Is that was separated an average player from a top superstar that has the confidence to dribble past defenders and score great goals? Many would argue yes, and so it is important to find that “happy place” that gives you inspiration.
