Brazilian star player Kaka finally received some good news concerning the groin injury that has nagged him for a while now in Spain. It had recently been revealed that he had a chronic problem that would not go a way for the rest of his career, but now it appears that the situation is not so serious.

Kaka has admitted that he has not been at his best since moving to Real, and will be very relieved that his condition is treatable. Previously it had been suggested that he would need to undergo special 30 minute warm-ups before and after each training session.

The news that Kaka might have a chronic injury sparked some animosity between Real Madrid and AC Milan, with the former accusing the later of concealing this injury when they bought Kaka in the summer. Milan have angrily responded that they would never do such a thing, and that the player was perfectly healthy while he was playing for them.

In any case, I think it’s a relief for the whole footballing world that Kaka‘s career is not in any jeopardy and we can soon see the Brazilian maestro weaving his magic on the field again. He has already started reminding people of what he can do, and contributed one of the goals in Real’s recent 3-0 victory over Espanyol. Just in time too, as the Champions League crunch match with Lyon is just around the corner.
